Meet the designer
Filippo Mambretti, born in Como, Italy, was deeply influenced by his early years spent with his grandparents, skilled artisans in furniture and statue making. This close connection nurtured a profound appreciation for design culture and history. During his secondary school years, he had the opportunity to meet renowned designer Bruno Munari, an experience that inspired him to pursue design academically. Mambretti went on to study at the Milan Polytechnic, where he earned degrees in interior design and furniture design. Mambretti’s work reflects a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, rooted in his heritage yet shaped by his formal education. His designs carry forward his family’s legacy of craftsmanship, merging artisanal values with a modern aesthetic that speaks to contemporary sensibilities.
