Brokis Under Pressure - chandelier inspired by the transformation of molten glass

Designed by Boris Klimek and Lenka Damová, the Brokis Under Pressure chandelier captures the moment when molten glass takes on its final form, translating the tension between fluidity and precision into a striking lighting composition. Each handblown glass shade has an expressive, organically contoured silhouette, contrasted by a central threaded metal rod that introduces a precise industrial detail. The result is a sculptural interplay of material, texture and form.

Available in nine designer-defined arrangements with circular or rectangular canopies, Under Pressure combines three distinct glass forms in compositions of three, four or five lights. A broad palette of transparent and opaline colors, with optional crackle detailing, allows different shades to be mixed within one installation. Brushed black, champagne or bronze metal finishes complete the design, making it a distinctive centrepiece for dining areas, double-height spaces, stairwells and hospitality interiors.

Boris Klimek is a Slovak product and interior designer based in Prague, celebrated for his innovative and emotive creations. A graduate of the Academy of Art, Architecture, and Design in Prague, he has collaborated with esteemed brands such as Brokis, Lasvit, and Bomma. His designs are characterized by their conceptual depth, playfulness, and ability to evoke imagination and emotion. Notable works include the Memory, Night Birds, and Geometric lighting collections for Brokis, as well as the Lollipop series for Lasvit. Klimek's contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the German Design Award and multiple Elle Deco International Design Awards

What is the estimated delivery time?

Approximate delivery time for items in stock is 1-14 days, for non-stock items: 5-90 days.

Delivery times vary depending on the manufacturer. For each item, you can find the estimated delivery time on its product page. Please note that these timelines are provided by our suppliers and are only estimates. While we always aim to meet them, Luminesy cannot be held responsible for delays or any costs that may result from such delays.

When you receive your order, please check it immediately for any damage and report it back to us within 48 hours, so in the unlikely case it has been damaged during shipping, we can claim compensation and send you a replacement.

For some particularly large or bulky items that exceed regular shipping size limits, the precise shipping cost can be harder to estimate in advance. These orders are shipped with a special carrier, depending on the destination. If we notice that the actual shipping cost significantly exceeds the initially estimated cost shown at checkout, we may need to ask for an additional fee.
