The Agasallo table lamp by a-emotional light extends the poetic language of the collection designed by Héctor Serrano, winner of the Spanish National Design Award 2024. Rooted in the Galician concept of “gift”, Agasallo explores the dialogue between light and matter through soft organic forms and carefully hand-painted surfaces that diffuse illumination into subtle atmospheric gradients.
Crafted from painted stainless steel mesh, the lamp reveals a delicate interplay between structure and transparency, allowing light to filter gently through its textured surface. Available in white, beige, grey, taupe, and black, and offered in small, medium, and large sizes, Agasallo adapts effortlessly to diverse interior compositions.

Meet the designer
Héctor Serrano
Héctor Serrano, a Spanish industrial designer, studied Industrial Design at UCH CEU in Valencia before pursuing a Master’s in Product Design at the Royal College of Art in London. In 2000, he established his own design studio in London, where he combines his professional practice with teaching. Serrano has shared his expertise through classes and masterclasses at prestigious institutions, including RCA and Ravensbourne in London, ECAL in Lausanne, CEU in Valencia, IE in Madrid, HKDI in Hong Kong, and Javeriana University in Bogotá. His work is recognized for its innovative and thoughtful approach, often bridging the practical and the imaginative. Serrano’s designs encompass a broad spectrum of projects, from product design to experiential installations, reflecting his commitment to exploring new possibilities within design. His dual role as both designer and educator has allowed him to influence the next generation of designers while continually refining his own practice.
